My Weekly Wins is a great place to learn about small steps you can take that can lead to meaningful improvements in your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.  Sometimes health goals seem out of reach or unattainable.  Willpower wanes and a deprivation mindset feels awful.  We are all human and most days are not perfect.  But, if we pay attention and make a few good choices, several imperfect days can make up a pretty good week- and one good week can easily lead to another.  Let's start celebrating your Weekly Wins!

… to learn about and build positive habits!

Whether your goal is to eat more nutritious food, get more exercise, get better sleep or floss more often, use this app to help you build positive habits.  Easily access science-based information as you choose what habits you would like to build.

 

...to simplify meal planning:  

Choose an eating plan that works for you and then shop for the items on that list… these are your “core” or “must eat” foods.  As your week progresses, check in to see what foods are left and plan your meals around those core foods.  Save yourself from decision fatigue and let the app guide your meal planning.  Fewer decisions will free up some mental real-estate and give you time to think about other things!

 

...to share and build positive habits with your friends and family!

Swipe your wins throughout the week and encourage your friends and family to do the same.  Share your progress at the end of each week.

About Us

Gitanjali S. Taneja, PhD

My Weekly Wins™ was created by Gitanjali, a working mother, scientist, psychologist, and general skeptic of all things that sound too good to be true.  In her quest to help herself and her family live happier and healthier lives, she is continuously reading through and analyzing the mountains of health information in the world. She weeds out the pseudo-science and quick-fix claims and identifies the practical, proven, science-based information that can help children and adults build positive habits.  She began developing the app as a tool to help her decide what to feed her family each week and then her vision grew bigger and she needed help... along came Shannon!

Shannon Holloway, PhD

Shannon, a physicist, grandmother, ballroom dancer, and dog lover, joined Gitanjali to help her develop the 'My Weekly Wins' app.  As a scientist and software engineer, she enjoys developing resources to make science more approachable and accessible. Although Shannon and Gitanjali have never met in person, they (and their dogs) have met via zoom and they have had so much fun building the app.  This partnership was a natural fit from day one!
