This is a super quick and easy recipe that will allow you to add 2 items to your Weekly Wins- broccoli (a powerhouse vegetable) and garlic (an allium vegetable). And if you have leftovers, this can amount to 4 Weekly Wins! There are literally four or five ingredients, depending on if you like things spicy:
-Broccoli (one bunch, or about 3 heads)
-Oil (Avocado Oil is a great, neutral oil that you can use at high heat)
-Garlic (about 4-5 cloves, crushed, or more if you love garlic)
-Salt (to taste)
-Crushed Red Chili Flakes (optional, to taste)
Chop the broccoli (while listening to Choppin' Broccoli), heat the pan to medium/high, add some oil (a tablespoon should do it). Add garlic and chili flakes to oil until they start to sizzle, and then throw in the broccoli. Stir fry on med/high heat for a few minutes, until the broccoli starts to turn bright green. Add the salt, stir a bit more, turn the heat down and cover, adding a little bit of water to the pan if needed). Check back a few minutes later and stir again. It's done when it's reached your preferred level of "done-ness."
